Senegal, Touba. "Lamp Fall" on a transport vehicle identifies the owner or driver as a follower of Sheikh Ibrahima Fall, one of the most influential disciples of the founder of the Mouride Islamic brotherhood, Ahmadu Bamba. "Lamp Fall" is also the name of the tallest minaret of the Grand Mosque of Touba, where Ahmadu Bamba is buried. "Machala" is Arabic for "What God has willed", often an expression of thanksgiving.
