Tunisia, Sidi Bou Said. Coffee Shop Owner, Hajj Omar, wearing a Chechia, the Traditional Tunisian Hat, and a Jasmine Sprig behind the Ear. The grayish spot ("zabiba") in the upper middle of his forehead is a light callus. This often marks a faithful observer of the Muslim prayers five times a day, in which the forehead gently comes in contact with the prayer rug as the worshipper goes through his prostrations.
