Antigua, Guatemala. Using a stencil to put the finishing touches on an alfombra (carpet) of colored sawdust to decorate the street in advance of the passage of a procession during Holy Week, La Semana Santa. The alfombra will be finished only a couple of hours before the passage of the procession, after which the remains will be quickly swept away by municipal street sweepers.
