Yellow Cashew Apples and Nuts Lying on the Ground, near Sokone, Senegal. Apples must be allowed to fall and should not be picked from the trees, but must be collected quickly once they are on the ground. This is an example of a well-tended farm, where underbrush has been removed and low branches have been pruned from the trees, facilitating movement underneath the trees.
