Nepal, Patan. Durbar Square, March 2009. Garuda Statue in foreground survived the April 2015 earthquake. The three-tiered Hari Shankar Temple in right background was completely destroyed. The column supporting the statue of King Yoganarendra Malla was toppled. The royal palace and Taleju Temple on the left survived.
