Mudayrib, Oman, Arabian Peninsula, Middle East - Omani Men Taking Lunch on the Eid al-Adha (Feast of the Sacrifice), the annual feast through which Muslims commemorate God's mercy in allowing Abraham to sacrifice a ram instead of his son, to prove his faith. Eating with the hands is still common in informal Omani society. The men are eating arsiya, a mixture of rice and meat.
