Akadaney, Niger, Africa - Fulani Wodaabe Dancers at Geerewol. Participants in what westerners often call the male beauty contest, in which the whiteness of the eyes and the teeth is an important factor in appealing to the female spectators. The dancers in the middle and on the right are wearing leather wallets, the red and green pouches hanging around the neck from a cord.
